Charlotte's A-S Blog: Task 4: Producers and Distributers.

Film Producers and Distributors Stop Animation.

From this research I have learnt lots about producers and distributors. Firstly I have learnt that film producers have a large reputation to uphold. For example, when a new film's producer is revealed, the film will instantly be judged by its target audience. This is because if a producer has a bad reputation people will believe the film will be bad based on what the producer has produced in the past. I have also learnt that distributer companies are very important. Without a distributer the film will not be able to be distributed on a wide scale. This would cause box office to be a lot lower that it could be. From my research I have found most major producers and distributers are based in America. However, this is because Hollywood is in America and Hollywood is home to the US film industry. I have learned there are lots of distribution companies and this is not surprising because there are lots of films that need to be distributed around the world therefore there needs to be lots of companies.
