Task 10: Analyse Previous Students Work

Callie Edwards:

Rebeca Moffat:

This Third Analysis is brought to you by Kieran Foley:

What Have I learnt?
From this task I have learnt a lot about how others view peoples videos. I have learnt that I am very critical when it comes to analysing work. I believe that this task has taught me a few things such as how timing and presentation is important. From watching Rebeca's video I have learnt that the timing of the credits has to match the average reading pace otherwise the audience will struggle to read what is displayed in front of them. I have also learnt that presentation and quality is also very important. Callie's video has taught me that a idealistic atmosphere makes the quality of the video better. I also believe pacing of the film is very important. I believe shots with similar timing to Callie's shots are perfect. They are not too mast and not too slow. However, I believe Rebeca's shots were slightly too long and this lost my interest a small bit.
